Liability insurance on street bike?

im 18, have 2 driving violations, am looking into financing a 1999 yzf r6 through thru a dealership. i dont want or cant afford full coverage so how much (roughly) would just liability run me? with all my info my quote from progressive came out to be around 1200. but i heard with only liability it could be around 400-800. thanks in advance
