LGBTQ: Do you read queer related blogs?

What are some of your favorites?

I found this one post in an unknown blog a few minutes ago through an online lesbian/queer women's LJ community and thought it was just really a great post. Its about this Christian Mom(I'm assuming she's Christian since her kid goes to a Christian preschool) and how her son wanted to be a female character from Scooby Doo for Halloween. She ordered the costume, he got to school in his costume and was scared to get out of the car because he was worried he was going to be made fun of. His Mom convinced him to go but when they got to the class immediately 3 other moms started talking about how inappropriate it was etc and the boy's mom was furious and expressed that. Her post was very thoughtful and articulate. Anyways, I thought it was worth sharing since heteronormativity and gender roles are definitely pertinent here and it made me want to read some new queer blogs.

This is the link to the Mom's post, if anyone is interested. I could list some blogs I like too if anyone wants:P

@rachelle, haha, I'm definitely not 'anti-gay'. I self ID as queer in relation to queer theory, which is actually not that old at all, having emerged int he early 90s or something like that. Additionally, I much prefer it as an umbrella term to the alphabet soup acronym. I obviously won't use the word to refer to someone who doesn't like it, but otherwise it's all mine. I'm not using it in a negative manner, which would be apparent if you had read my full question post:P
I'm just about to start looking at some of your suggestions but I saw .d?gg?r?'s and OMG, lol, I agree, best blog ever. Did you read the lesbian boot=strap on harness post? ahhh good stuff.
