LG VX9800 or Samsung a970?

hi all,
I am currently looking for a new phone, as my upgrade is due. And I am in serious need of an upgrade considering as of now i have a VX4500, not that its bad or anything, but the point is, im due. My carrier is Verizon. Now i was wondering which to get, LG's 9800 or Samsungs a970. I am going to hopefully use the mp3 player a lot. I also was slightly leaning toward the a970 because it has a 2 mp camera, as opposed to the 1.3 of the 9800. Also, the cord that you hook your respectable phone up to your computer, are they somewhat hard to come by? As in, could i just go to radioshack or best buy and pick one up there? I would like to stay away ordering online if at all possible.

but is the 9800 a good phone even though i may/may not use mobile web? would the qwerty keyboard go to waste? i'd still use it for texting i guess.
 
I've been looking at a lot of reivews, and i'm still stuck. now that i look though, the motorola e815 doesnt look that bad either. the competition toward that though is LG's 8100. i'm now deciding if i should go between those two, since they are somewhat cheaper, and cheaper is better for me.
 
E815 is the best phone verizon has in my opinion since it get great rf but if you are gonna use the keyboard and do alot texting then u need to get the 9800.
