ok i had the same problem the other day it was because the esn on your phone is 00000000000000000 wright the esn off the phone using cdma ws then it should work :2thumbs:
 
HEY THANKS amoamare THIS TUTORIAL WAS EASY AS HELL IM A LIITLE NEW THAT THIS BUT I GOT IT DONE ONLY THING I GOT LEFT IS TO CONFIRM THAT MMS AND WEB IS WORKING I HAVE TO GO TO CRICKET STORE FOR THEM TO ACTIVATE IT CAUSE THEY COULDNT DO IT OVER THE PHONE. SO TOMORROW I WILL POST IF EVERYTHING WORKS. SO FAR IM GETTING THE HANG OF THIS. 1 QUESTION ON ALL SPRINT PHONE NOT PDA'S BUT SPRINT PHONE SPECIFIC IS THIS WHAT WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO DO IN ORDER TO GET MMS AND WEB. FLASH THE ENTIRE FIRMWARE JUST A QUESTION.
 
ok i got everything working but wap. MMS is workiong but internet is not working and my cdma workshop is on a demo version and i dont have any money to get the registered is there any other way to get internet to work. will LG download do it and if so which dll cause I've already used 9100 and that didnt work
 
and by the way that **** dont even work ight that is the most bogus crap ever. if ur post somethin make sure u know what ur talkin about.
 
Why is it that all these LG phones MMS works on Cricket but not metro? I hope they buy out metro and change everything. I'v been messing with this and other LG phones, hex editing the hell out of files and things trying to me MMS to work.
 
I don't understand why you would post this in the Cricket forum. But my opinion is that Metro uses a different platform than Cricket does for mms.

That has been covered on here quite a few times.
 
edit the parmtable1 file

then hit menu>0>000000>go to wap settings and type the settings in! make sure to change your homepage to wap.cricket.motricity.com
 
Hello will this tutorial work for a lg rumor 2 from sprint? If so.. Do you know where I can find the LG260CKT.dll file at.. I have been searching for hours and I can't find it anywhere. If anyone knows where I can find that file at or if anyone can give me that file I would really appreciate it, thanks.
 
Read the stickies on the front of the Forum. Amoamare posted everything you need for the Rumor there.

No the Rumor solution will not work on the Rumor 2. If you try it, it will brick your phone.
 
Ok thanks. Well do you know how I can do a full flash for a lg rumor 2? Or even just a basic flash? Thanks.
