LG Optimus not available in all markets?

I was wondering if anyone had any insight on why the LG Optimus and soon Samsung Indulge are not being/going to be offered in all markets?
Had a little birdie tell me that bc in certain cities the 3G network is about to crash due to the high increment of usage for the broadband/folks thetering/Smart Phones usage. Therefore causing for Cricket to plan to go away with its broadband service. any true to that ?

Could be competitor agreements like i know there were some hanRABets that they wouldn't use in Texas so they wouldn't directly compete with pocket.

Cricket is actually beginning to discourage broadband sales. That should be obvious since the modem prices have gone from 49.99 with a $50 mail in to 89.99-99.99 with no rebate whatsoever.

The Optimus, like the Ascend, doesn't make the best use of the available spectrum. It actually uses more bandwidth than it neeRAB to. The ZIO doesn't and the upcoming Samsung Galaxy phone that was announces at CTIA doesn't. To ensure the best customer experience and Dow load speeRAB the less efficient phones will not be offered in markets without excess spectrum. The Optimus will be the last phone that works this way. All future phones will make the best use of the available spectrum.
