LG Neon GoPhone good for texting and Twitter?

Not big on cell phones so all I need is a simple plan for calling and texting. I'm just wondering if the LG Neon on a GoPhone plan would be good for this. Also, can it support Twitter? That is really the only social networking site I use (thanks god).

Also... are they good phones? I've read a few reviews that say it's good for what you need. It uses EDGE but just for talking and texting that's enough really.
