So, this morning i was getting ready when i accidentally knocked my cellphone off of the counter, which then landed into the toilet. I grabbed it as quickly as i could, took the battery out, and wiped of all the water i could find. There wasn't much water underneath the battery, to my surprise. Just a drop. I turned on my phone (which i now regret) and it seemed to be working fine at first, but it then i the buttons inside the flip started freaking out, and now they don't work at all. The buttons on the outside of the phone seem to be working fine, so i can still make/receive calls, but the EnV3's outer menu doesn't let you do much. My WATER DAMAGE INDICATORS are white with Pink X's, and after some research some people say that that means NO water damage (is this true), which is odd considering it was completely submerged in water for a couple seconds. Anyways, right now i have the battery and phone resting in Rice, but with my last phone, water damage made some of the buttons not work too, and i did the same thing and it didn't work out, so i'm doubtful that it will work this time too.
WHAT CAN I DO TO REVIVE THE INSIDE BUTTONS OF MY PHONE?
My phone is fairly new, and i'm very aware that warranty won't cover this (I don't have insurance), so I really just need some at-home remedies for this, if there are any.
