lg downloader - bricked phone?

k, i have been searching all over hofo for this and cannot find anything. since cricket users are master flashers :buddies: i hope someone can help me out.

i have been flashing rumors for several weeks now with no problems. however, i have 2 phones that lg downloader froze up on and now the phones wont turn on at all. am i totally effed here or is there some key sequence to get these to boot up again like moto bootloader mode?

any tips would be greatly appreciated!!
 
and its definitely not worth bying for a rumor....

keep em for spare parts.... u may need to replace a screen or housing one day...
 
Same thing happened to me. Amoamare is right. I just purchased two of them off Ebay. Saved me. I kept it and made my money back when another one was brought to me that needed fixed.
 
yea, would not have asked if i hadnt googled it already. guess i just need it durabed down, waaaay too many technical terms ive never heard of.

ebayed it too and got tons of stuff i would have no idea what to do with. above my head sounRAB like.
 
I googled "JTAG" and came up with a lot of useful information. The best part about my search is it solidified my position that I think it is easier just to get another phone to replace the old one and use this one for parts. Google never lets me down. It's always there for me when I need it.
 
wow, you guys must be way smarter than me, all that read like german to me. well, guess i will part them out. thanks everyone for the input tho!
