LG Ally vs. Motorola DROID, which should I get?

So our contract is about to end so my mom wants to get new phones, however when she told me to pick a phone I told her I didn't really care and she was thinking about the "Lg Ally" but then my brother told her to get the "DROID"... I know they are pretty much the same phone expect the ally has a better keyboard, but the droid has more memory.... I am confused and they are both free so price isn't really an issue o-0
