LG ALLY HELP ! [verizon]?

My lg ally from verizon is crap . Sometimes its freezes up . And the worst part is sometimes I can't send and receive texts ! I can't call sometimes either I called my friends phone when I was with her ,it went straight to her voiecmail and according to her phone I didn't call at all ! I got this phone last Friday I'M DEVESTATED ! PLEASE HELP
