LG 5500 Bluetooth help?

I just bought an LG 5500 cell phone, and I was hoping to transfer pictures between my laptop and cell phone. The laptop I have is an HP Pavillion dv9000, and both the laptop and cell are supposed to be Bluetooth enabled. Is there any way to transfer files between them, and if so, how?
 
whenever i want to transfer pictures from my laptop to my cell i use phonezoo.com all you have to do is create an account upload the photos onto the website and then you can send them to your phone. it is really easy to do. if you want to send them from your phone to the laptop you can send the pictures to your email using a picture message. im not sure of anyway to use the bluetooth
