I have a unusual issue with my LG 42" 42PQ12 720P Plasma...
the lower half of the screen will have fuzz and stuck pixals when the tv is first fired up... once it has been on for about 15 mins to a half hour it goes away... however it has got worse over time... you really only see it when there is a white area on the bottom.. and the rest of the screen is darker.... it used to only be noticable when using my PC on the tv... however now it is noticable on everything
I used to be able to correct it by adjusting the brightness + contrast however no settings appear to fix it anymore... it would warm up and be good... but now its brutal...
this happens on componant, composite, coax, hdmi w/ any device connected....
it is primarly noticable when there is a dark section on the top of the screen and a white area near the bottom... it appears the top is fine, but only the bottom...
I have been told its the P SCAN knob or the logic board... but nobody can confirm the same symptoms as me...
this tv is a little over a year old... Im not a rich person and could barley afford it... I at least expected 3 years out of the thing....
