I'm looking to get into home recording, but I'm torn between these two products.

The lexicon is almost half the price of the POD, and it comes with Cubase 4 LE, which is something I'm keen for. However, I'm sure that the POD is a better piece of hardware, although it comes with Ableton Live Lite and RiffWorks T4; I don't know if this software will support my needs.
Basically I'm looking for a decent piece of hardware and software that will allow me to record guitar at home. The software needs to be VST and VST(i) compatible, this is very important, and I'm not sure if Ableton Live Lite or Riffworks support this. I know that Cubase does. I'm also hoping for a built-in drum sampler in the software
Any advice would be appreciated!
