I have been taking lexapro for 2 weeks now and noticing i am very moody and on edge and my anxiety is so much worse . I feel like i am losing my mind. Has anyone experienced any of these side effects from lexapro.

Oh good grief yes. Those are the most common side effects of Lexapro during the first few weeks. I felt absolutely horrible the first two weeks.
Stick with it. If after four weeks the symptoms are the same, talk to your doctor. Most report significant improvement...including me.

I've been taking Lexapro for almost 3 weeks now; but I haven't been edgy and moody.. If anything, I have been having heightened anxiety, but not full blown episodes.. I hear that it takes at least 4-6 weeks to really feel good.. So, there will be some kind of side effects; I think before you feel better.. Best of luck..

I am approaching week 2 and I definitely have more anxiety as well. Geez, 2 more weeks seem like forever away.

Thank you all for responding to my post . I really hope this lexapro kicks in because i cant take all these anxiety attacks anymore.

My doctor recommended I corabine Lexapro with Buspar which is fast acting but not addictive like Xanax.
Stick with it. Within about 3 weeks of the right Lexapro dose for me (and therapy) I started to be able to focus and the major anxiety attacks were largely gone.
