Lexapro hairloss and high glucose readings??

:confused: Just wondering if anyone has experienced hairloss and higher glucose readings while on lexapro? I have dodged the weight gain bullet, but have a few other hopefully coincidental side effects. Tried researching it and found a few things referring to antidepressants causing diabetes. Hope that is not so. There goes my anxiety..........always worried about something!
 
Have you ever had a full thyroid testing done? I know sometimes thyroid issues can cause hair loss. Possibly high glucose too? I just had a full thyroid testing done yesterday as well as a fasting glucose test. Ill let you know my results. I would talk to the doctor and see maybe its something in your diet that could be causing the glucose issues?
 
I don't know about the high glucose thing but i do know that my mother-in-law lost lots of hair while on zoloft.
