Lexapro causing FLU like symptoms

ive been on lexapro 3 days now and the morning after i took my first tablet i woke up with a pounding headache, stuffed runny nose and stiffness in my neck! ever since i have the same symptoms and feel so drained and tired the whole time! are these symptoms normal with taing lexapro the first few days??
and when will they pass??:confused:
 
Lexapro has different side effects for everyone. You will experience some crazy side effects when you first take it. It usually lasts a week to two weeks so be prepared. I actually had some random side effects 4 weeks later for about a day. Overall though it is worth the wait and the annoyance of going through it. I am finally able to go out of my house and actually drive in my car and walk in a store without having a panic attack.
 
Please give it some time..even 3 weeks sometimes.I believe in Lexapro and I believe you will too if you wait it out! Don't overthink this as I usually do and give it a good chance!
