So after searching the site on the traction control stopping the bike from wheelies, I have not found the exact answer. So I polled it. I am not as good as most of you on here and I dont like to pull wheelies for show. I have had times when I pulled the bike off hard from the light and felt like I was a tad off the ground but what do I know right? Please help me before I kill myself. lol

Does DTC stop the bike from standing straight up?

No - I don't think so - whatever you have coded into the ecu from factory is what you'll have. I suspect the race bikes have a fork travel sensor that would feed into their ecu's so when they are WOT & upright, the forks would be extended as the weight came off the front end indicating an imminent wheelstand.

we all know that the 09 dtc is different to the 1098r 08 dtc and from all accounts the 09 version will wheelie with the dtc on. my r up till this point hasn't let me wheelie with the dtc on, even on its lowest setting, the slightest power wheelie cuts the dtc hard. BUT!!!!!!! since in the last week i've taken the rear tail off to install a different one, and it appears that some fuckin dumb cunt knobhead has installed the dtc module upside down So after rectifying this little problem i will get back to you on whether or not the 08 version will wheelie with the dtc on.

if only those same balls weren't responsible for populating this earth
