I hate that everyone always say MJs the greatest to ever play.. but i disagree cuz I believe there are a few other players that have to be cosidered the greatest as well.. check the stats and numbers and reasons... and give me ur opinion on who is ur and why and who else should be included...
in no particular order...
1. Michael Jordan, 6 rings, 5 mvps, 30ppg, 6rbs, 5ast, 2stls, 49%fgs career... most ferocious overall basketball player ever...
2. Magic Johnson 5 rings, 3 finals mvps, 19ppg, 11ast, 7 rbs, 2 stls, 52%fgs career.. only player in NBA history that could of been hall of fame caliber player in all five positions..
3. Larry Bird 3 rings, 2 finals mvps, 24ppg, 10rbs, 7ast, 1.7stls 50%fgs career... probably the greatest shooter/rebounder combination in history plus add the playmaking.. wow...
4. Kareem 6 rings, 6 mvps, 24ppg, 11 rbs, 3.5ast, 2.5blks, 56%fgs.. most unstoppble offensive center ever...
5. Wilt Chamberlin 2 rings, 1 finals mvp, 4 mvps, 30ppg 23rbs, 4ast 54%fgs... just check the numbers...
6. Bill Russell 11 rings, 5 mvp, 15ppg 22rbs.. probably the greatest team defender of all time..
7. Shaquille O Neal 4 rings, 3 finals mvp, 24ppg 11rbs 2blks 3ast 58%fgs most dominating force in his era...
those are my list of the greatest ever, i could never disrespect any of these players, also had not been for Bird playing against Magic, and vice versa, both could of had more rings... you could probably throw in Kobe in, and Lebron if he continues at his pace, also borderline to the list include Jerry West, Dr.J, Hakeem Olajuwon... and thats my opinion...
