It appears the ‘Tolerant Left’ is out in force just ahead of this week’s Democrat National Convention in Charlotte. Today, two dumpster-burning leftists were hauled away during protests. From WCNC:
Two people were arrested during Sunday’s march in uptown that drew hundreds of protesters, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.
About 700 chanting protesters launched a march through uptown with calls for reform on Sunday afternoon. Organizers had previously expected anywhere from 2,000 to 10,000 protesters.
One protester was arrested for violating a law by wearing a mask, according to police. The unidentified woman was arrested at 2:25 p.m. At the time of the arrest, she had a knife, police said.
A man was also arrested for disorderly conduct, assault on a government official and resisting arrest in the 200 block of South College street. The man was drunk, CMPD police chief Rodney Monroe told reporter Dianne Gallagher.
