Went to my primary Dr. complaining of pain in my right rib area. Pain was extremely severe but not constant. Pain was only there when I moved or if I layed on my left side. It hurt to breathe as well. Was sent for a chest xray and it came back normal and was then sent for a cscan. They found numerous lesions on my right lung up to 4 mm which are too small to biospy. Was sent to a lung specialist and he said the same thing they are too small. Repeat the scan in a few months and see if they are growing. They are freaking out about this. I am not because I had several growths on my thyroid, a fatty tumor on my spinal cord and a lump on my breast. All biopsy's came back negative that is why I think the lungs are not going to be a problem. However the pain in my back is bad and they found a lesion on the bone mid back on the right side where all my pain is. It seems to be getting abit better but still hurts when I take a deep breath. I went on vacation and on the plane coming back had to carry some luggage. Within 24 hours the pain was so severe again that I would scream out loud if I accidentally turned the wrong way or sat down wrong or whatever. It is easing up again now but still hurts when I breathe. Going for a bone density scan tomorrow along with a mri. I am more concerned with the back pain than the lung. Don't really understand what causes a lesion on the bone and exactly what it is. Any ideas anyone?
