Lesbophobia in all-female environments?

I know that there's a lot of homophobia in male-dominated fields such as sports, but is there also a lot of lesbophobia in predominately female environments? Girls always like to talk to me about their dating lives, and because I'm cutesy and girly looking, often ask me if and why I don't have a boyfriend. Soon I'll be going to beauty school for hairstyling. Considering that I'll be in a nearly all female environment, would it be best to stay closeted? I know that gay men tend to be accepted in the beauty industry because women find them non-sexually threatening, but would it be different for a lesbian? If any of you are currently and the workplace, do you lie/go out of your way to hide your sexuality?
 
It would probably be more accepting there but i didn't know that there was a lot of homophobia in male dominated fields but it would probably be better and more accepting.
