So, I bought another leopard gecko at a local pet store, a couple weeks back. She is a female, and at the pet store was on repti carpet,and housed with another leopard gecko.But, at that pet store she was only fed crickets, never any kind of worms(silk,meal,wax,etc). However, I liike to keep some variety, so I feed my leos mealworms, and crickets(not at the same time, obviously) with the occasional treat of a wax worm. She is not unhealthy, but she will eat medium crickets like there is no tomorrow, but just refuses to eat any kind of worm I offer. Now, I do still have her on repti carpet(if you dont like repti carpet, please dont lecture me about it) And she has access to calcium, water, has warm/cool side and 2 hides. She has a heat lamp, and is in a 10g tank, the temp hangs around mid to high 80's. Anyways, Is there anything I can do to "train" her to eat mealworms?
By the way- Please dont say I "Should have done my research" or "Poor Geckos!" or explain how stupid I am, because I have done my research, and my geckos are very happy and healthy, I have just never had this issue before!
