Length of relationship

Okay, now why the separation gay to hetero...what's their secret in a lasting relationship I don't have? Also, what your defintion of "lasting"? Do you have to like one another to define it as "last", or is it strictly a durational thingy?

hmm, not to be cynical or anything, but in my opinion there's really not enough data to reach a valid conclusion here, although I think I agree the conclusion you reach is correct, just not supported by the data (or lack thereof).

Personally I think the obsession with a lasting relationship is unhealthy. Feelings change all the time, imagine a world with Christians and no marriage, were nobody was hung up on the purity of their relationships. People could keep the loving company of whomever they pleased for the amount of time that they felt like they should. Sure it hurts when relationships end, but that

I think lasting relationships are great...in separate states. LOL! Having a relationship does change. It changes over time. Sometimes the person changes with you and sometimes not. But why the hang up on staying together?

I don't know what I'm trying to say here, really. I guess it's just a matter of preference. If you can do the long term thing fine. But don't look down your nose at people who can't. Sometimes someone comes along and they feel like a good fit. It's life...give it a shot....
