So another post today of cooking dinner for tomorrow night and all we have is some fish fillets - it's quite bland fish like cod so needs some seasoning.
My plan was to put the fillets in a bowl with some lemon juice and leave them to marinade in it for a bit, then cook the fillets in a pan with a small amount of butter and a little of the lemon juice used to marinade them in.
I think this will either be nice or boring as will just be lemony fish so I'm asking for advice and tips to make it.
I'm thinking crushing peppercorns and adding them to the marinade so I'm basically making lemon pepper fish but thought I would ask for opinions.
I also have another question open for slow-cooking apples so if you could look at that question too I would very much appreciate it.
