Leica D-Lux 4 or Panasonic Lumix GF1?

I want to buy one for my mom because she just wants to carry a camera around that does the same effect as her DSLR.

unfortunately I don't have the money so I have to go for second hand ones.

Leica D-Lux 4 : $500
Lumix GF1: $450

Is the Leica D-Lux 4's lens interchangeable? i'm thinking it is. it's Leica after all.
