I'm 18 and I currently have a leggiero tenor/ light lyric tenor voice.
While I'm proud to be of a rare voice type, I would love to have a more full lyric or spinto voice.
Is there anyway my voice could develop into either type from being what it is?
Just to clarify it's not like I lack low notes so much. I can get down to Bb2 and sound rather deep while singing it. The problem is that I prefer singing between A3 (as a comfortable chest note) to F5 (as the top of my comfortable range).
My range is not what I'm concerned with it's the timbre of my voice. I just want more fullness and slightly more power in my range.
So is there any chance this will happen anytime soon?
Will it even happen as I get older?
Is there anything I can do to achieve my goal without ruining my voice?
