I have to wonder just who this movie is aimed at. It doesn't appear to be a typical kids' talking animal movie, as none of the characters are cracking jokes, putting on shades and spouting out hip buzzwords in any if the film's promos, yet adults are likely going see talking owls and write it off as being "Just another kids movie".

Legend of the Guardians is likely to be a hard sell, the way that Animal Farm and Watwership Down were.

This one is supposed to have another new Looney Tunes short attached to it, isn't it? I wonder how come we haven't heard too much about that.

It's aimed towards the fans of the books. On another website that I went to a lot of people who have read the books are dieing to see it.

I was slightly interested in this movie before, but now it's a definite watch for me, because the only site that I know of that reviews just the 3-D of a movie gave this a perfect score. That's higher than what they gave Avatar. I want to see how good the 3-D is.

I'll be checking this one out. The books were very good, though definitely on the mature side of the "childrens book" spectrum. Some of the scenes and events were fairly disturbing.

The 3D alone looks simply amazing.

I saw the movie last night, and I would say that it was a pretty ok movie. The plot felt a little rushed to me and the slow down effects were really getting on my nerves. Though I bet they wouldn't have been as bad had I seen the 3d feature.

I thought is was good, the best part about that movie was the visuals. They were so beautiful. Everything in that movie was beautiful, and totally deserved to be in 3D. The plot itself was good but not great. I still say its worth the time and money, especially if you like owls because damn they looked good.

I was really looking forward to this. The visuals were stunning, the 3D looked great. I saw it today, it was pretty bad. There were so many plot holes. I've never read the books, so I don't know anything about it. What are the Guardians? I don't know. Why are they needed? I don't know. What is Metal Beak's plan? Good question. The voice actors got on my nerves, and the 3D was disappointing. The CGI was great looking, but it couldn't save this movie. Hope your next movie is better, Snyder.

Maybe its because I read the books, but I really enjoyed the film. Its much darker and more action packed than most kid animal films, and the ending really leaves me wanting a sequel. The animation was very good, and I wish I had seen it in 3-D.
