smc ?

estate? (home is in probate)? to sum it up: house has been in probate for over two years, my great uncle took a loan out on his home before he died, my mother was the person over his estate after she died and she sent the bank a notification of his death, and etc. the bank we're allowing my parents to make payments up until october of last year, then they stop sending my mother a monthly bill, when she inquired about it they said they couldnt find the account, and the lady said that meant one of two things 1) they wrote it off as a loss or 2) they sold the account.

Since my uncles death, they have not sent the probate lawyer any documents, we do not know what theyre intentions are or etc. and because of this, the Judge will not close the probate. It's been in probate since Fathers day 2008.

Legally, dont they have to notify atleast the probate lawyer or the person over the estate? This isnt about who gets the house, or anything like that. my question is soley, doesnt the bank have to notify the probate lawyer of their intentions.
