Legal question about getting compensated for damage to my Toyota truck from...

...tainted gasoline? I bought a half tank of gas from a convenience store in Virginia, and immediately thereafter my truck's engine stalled, shook violently, and wouldn't stay running. In the two hours I was there waiting for the tow truck to come haul me to a service station, at least 3 other vehicles experienced the same problem after fueling up at this same station. All our vehicles died right there in the parking lot of the station.

The Toyota dealership drained the gas, ran diagnostics, and determined that the system was "running too lean" from having gas with too much alcohol in it. They drained the tank, flushed the system with good gas, and then put 3 gallons in it and sent me on my way. The truck worked fine afterward.

I paid $366 to have the truck repaired, $26 for the original purchase of the tainted fuel, and $80 to have my truck towed to the dealership. One of the other disabled vehicles was a Toyota also, and his truck got towed into the same dealership about an hour after mine got there... The other vehicles were not Toyotas, so I don't know where they ended up taking theirs.

One of the drivers whose vehicle was disabled walked around and took down all our phone numbers and names, so we could get together later and make sure we all had a complete picture of everything that happened. He hasn't contacted me yet, but it's only been a day.

Should I copy my receipts and demand reimbursement from the gas station, or should I wait and get in touch with the other affected motorists to see about a class action lawsuit? What would you do?

P.S. The manager of the gas station admitted to my face that there were at least 2 other vehicles affected by his gas before mine on that same day.
