Hello. recently i have been sued and im in dire need. so let me first tell you what happened.
when i was in 12th grade (17 years old) my friends and i stole something from school and we got suspended and expelled. the office secretary also got expelled for no supervision.
so i went to another school and graduated. so during the summer, the office secretary sues the school and the students, including myself, for lost wages, benefits, and emotional/physical pains or whatever.
im 18 now. im just wondering what the outcome will be like. i dont know if i should hire a lawyer because i have no money. would it be smart to hire a lawyer?
what do you think the judge will decide upon.
i feel like i received all the punishments already and it wasnt totally my fault that she got fired. she tried for reinstatement to return to the school but the board denied her again.
what should i do.
