It is day 4, and I am dealing with mild to severe leg cramps. The cramps are occuring strictly in the back of my thighs up to my buttocks. They are making me miserable, but I do get relief when I take advil.
I'm starting to get really worried as I've never had cramps last this long. I've been eating bananas and potassium tablets, multi-vitamins, blueberries, drinking V8, but that doesn't make a difference. Stretching or massaging gives no relief.
The only explanation I have is last Wed, I went to the gym after a long break and got on the leg weights which does work these exact muscles. Maybe I pulled something, but I don't understand why they would start hurting 4 days later! And why do the cramps go away and come back? Should I just let time heal itself? I don't want to rush to a doctor. The doctors almost never help me, and only make me more worried.
