Leftover turkey gravy in the freezer.

About a cup of it left from Thanksgiving. All the leftover turkey
is gone. Do you think it would be a good addition to a pot of
chicken and vegetable soup? I have some chicken breasts in the
other freezer, and lots of fresh vegetables and some canned tomatoes...

Not as good as some alternatives, because the "character" of gravy and
soup are different. Don't know how to describe it. Instead, wait
until the next time you roast or grill a chicken and have breast meat
left over. Then use the turkey gravy to make hot chicken sandwiches.
Or remember it whenever you next make mashed potatoes for a meal that
doesn't include its own gravy. Or make cornbread dressing as the
starch for some meal instead of potatoes or rice and serve it with the
gravy. -aem

Yeah, if he had a lot left over I would advise the same, but it's only
a cup. One cup in a whole pot of soup won't make a noticable change
in the 'soupiness'. I know what you are saying about the character,
but in this case I don't think it would make any difference.

Bake some chicken, slice the breasts and simmer in the gravy and serve

Sure. It would be good in a pot pie too.

Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut that held its ground.
