Leftover Financial Aid Money?

Hey guys what do you do with the leftover financial aid money the school gives you? I'm receiving 1,000 and I don't know what to do with the rest of money. Any suggestions? What did you do with your leftover money considering that you already bought books and everything?

I mean I'm probably going to waste it on a couple of jeans then take some driving lessons because I don't know how to drive yet because I don't wanna take the bus to college everyday. Is that okay to do, what do you do with the leftover financial aid money.

Do you have any college loans? If so, don't waste the money. If you don't have any loans and this is purely from grants, then I would suggest saving a good portion of it. Next year you may not receive as much grant money and you may need the extra to cover the cost of your school. In addition, you may have unexpected expenses come up and having money in a savings account could really benefit you. The driving lessons would be a good investment, so I would recommend that. However, don't waste the money on new clothes.
