When I was in High School I was the only student to sign up for economics and thus we never had the class. There is no interest anymore! Of course, that was cough more than 10 years ago cough cough so maybe things have improved?

The problem with capitalism is that it requires hard work. A lot of people would just rather let the government do it for them. There is usually not a lot of instant gratification when it comes to hard work.

Provides valuable goods and services.
Rewards hard working people and initiative.
Creates a higher standard of living for all.
Narrows the gap between common person and wealthy.
Provides opportunity to realize dreams and desires.

I get heckled by uneducated people who have no even passed econ 101! what's up with this?
