Left Breast & Sternum pain

Last Friday I began experiencing sharp, stabbing, burning pain under my left nipple, which radiates out to my arm pit area. It mimicks the pain you get in your breasts during your period, but to a much higher degree, I've had this pain off and on since approximately 2004, but it generally went away within 24 hours or so. This time, it

It sounds to my like you are having flare up of CostaChondritis. (See another post on this subject) What you a feeling sounds just like I have had for 30 years.
Sorry, there is no cure. Louise

the same thing is happening to me...
me and my husband have been trying to conceive too...so we don't know if it is because i am pregnant or what...
but anyways mine just started a couple days ago...and it started in my left one and it is usually in my left one...but sometimes (barely) it is in my right one.
anyways we went to my husband's cousin's house and she gave me some charco caps...she said that it could have been gas and she said that they worked really really well. well that night me and my husband came home and my chest didn't bother me the rest of the night...
well early this morning when i was turning over i noticed that i had a pain in the middle of my chest (sternum). last night before i took the pill, i was crying because my breast hurt so bad, but now it is in the middle and it only hurts when touched or when i get up, go down, or cough or laugh...and sometimes it is pretty bad...
i don't know what it is neither. if it gets any worse me and my husband are going to go to the doctor to see what it could be...

do you think that the women that messaged you could have had the right thing...?

I get sharp pain in my left breast and armpit, sometimes it just comes and goes other times it hangs around. My Doctor diagnosed it as referred pain from my neck. My neck felt fine but he said that doesn't mean anything. He advised me to get some treatment for the tight muscles in my neck, I did and the pain went away. I still get it at times, been getting it for nearly 6 years now. I find if I get my neck massaged and also do stretches it goes away. I don't get sternum pain but it might depend on which muscles in the neck are affected as to where the pain is. My Doctor says that we carry our worries in our necks and we don't necessarily have to feel stressed at the time because it builds up. Another thing that effects my neck muscles is sitting in front of the computer or sewing machine for hours. I've got unbelievable pain in my left shoulder and down my arm at the moment from a long sewing session. I hope I have been of some help to both of you.
