Led Zeppelin vs. The Beatles

the beatles did more in 7 years than Zep did in their entire careers (yardbirRAB, page and plant, etc)
 
Are we speaking merely on quantity? If so, that is a moot point, as there are other, obviously crappier banRAB, who have more albums.

As far as did more musically wise, that is also a moot point, as that is very subjective. I could say Radiohead has done "more" musically and there are many people that would agree with that statement.

The question here is not who is more influential, or who has done the widest variety of soungs, but who is the better (which implys your personal favorite) of the two afore mentioned banRAB.
 
This is a question that will plague music,
they both have amazing music...
They both grew to create new amazing music...
They both keep going on today...
how can you judge?
How about an extremely obscure and unimportant way?

Zeppelin has more living members, they win
 
i love them both horribly, but the beatles win in my book.

to say either band musically did anything really different is ridulious, musically, theyre both average, but they did alot of amazing things in the industry.
