Weigh out the price and instability of an HID upgrade and also the cost of these brighter short life bulbs and $237 isn't that much. The only thing I am worried about it companies making these and using sub-par LED's. If this is a good product and throws out a decent amount of light I am gonna look into getting one. Might as well be the guinea pig for the rest of ya.
 
There is a 24v one available? Would that fry out wiring systems. The part number for the 24v is 07370 and what would be the advantages if any with the 24 v application. I want one now that would be sick!

I got one of the HID lights, but after remaking the mounting hardware I set it back in the bat wing to give it a frenched look. It took about 1 1/2 in. off the chrome dome look from the side, so for me it is worth it for the better light. Riding here in Puerto Rico is like riding the back streets of any major city, you never know what you will run across or into. So the extra light is well worth it, especially, for someone who rides day and night in all weather.
