Yeah, I'm everyone's bitch . And that's the price to pay fuckhead, most states and companies are at will meaning the company can fucking fire you for looking funny. You don't like what they ask of you, start your own company.

And yes, anyone can start their own company.
 
so apparently work just made my buddy take down his lebanese flag. they said it was a political statement and politics has no place in the office.

he still has a lebanese hat on his cpu, but they'll probably be around in a few minutes to ask him to put that away too.

and really, americans aren't much better. if the countries called in their tabs you'd be third world too.

sure a company can fire anyone for anything, wether its ethical or not is another story, and if it does happen to you and you do nothing about it...nothing will change
 
Because you need a million dollars to start a company

When I was 22 I quit a job because I didn't like their rules. Started independently consulting for two years, and then went back to working for a company when I had kids.
 
this is an american company though, so maybe with all the directors walking around, they don't want to offend anyone.

is america still siding with israel?
 
tell him to look around. if anybody else in the same office has a flag of another country (especially Israel) he could contest the manager's judgement and if he gets penalized for doing so, i could see him winning in court
