I've been renting an apartment for 4 months now and I really would like to get out of my lease. First of all, there is this horrible smell that lingers in my apartment now matter what I do it does not go away. I'm pregnant and the smell makes me so sick. Also this apartment complex is infested with drugs. The lady that lives across from me does meth in her apartment and has numerous guys come to her apartment throughout the night. I've had problems with people banging on my door at 2 a.m. and i'm pregnant and trying to sleep. The people above me sound like they are running a marathon til 4 a.m. I can't walk out of my apartment without several men sitting outside throwing trash in front of my door and cigarrette butts everywhere and they are always drunk and smoking a blunt infront of everyone and making obscene comments. I'm 20 years old and I live alone and i'm now worried about my safety. I feel like i cannot go outside without them out there. they constantly knock on my door. I assume that the maintainence man and his wife are on drugs too because they are constantly at the neighbors who do meth. I need help. Can i get out of my lease???
