alright so.. in history class today, we were learning about other countries opinions on the united states (whcih is where i live lol) and umm.. we had to make a list of what america is to us, but i was all dumbfounded because i really dont know enough about things like this, you know, whats really going on and stuff. Many listed us or the goverment as arrogant and 'the bullies' and stuff. all i could come up with was like 'diverse, materialistic, obese..' things like that.
Now i know theres billions different opinions on whats going on in the world and united states.. but where can i find out the real stuff, and get informed, so i can create my own opinions? please dont say CNN cause that place confuses me Lol! i want to be able to understand what they talk about on cnn yknow? and like, whats the thing going on in iraq? or iran or pakistan or whatever! (see i dont even know where the soldiers are going) and why are they sending troops over there? to find that one terrorist guy? please help me not have to ask silly questions like this lol, thank you so much.. i'm a junior in highschool if that helps
