Learning, Electronics, and Contradictions?

Am I the only one who only thinks that its a contradiction that everyone says kids shouldn't be playing games at such a young age. People now a days use electronics all the time. Learning is such a vital thing for students, but now, the games and learning systems are giving them bad habits of playing to learn.
Am I the only one?
