Since I've bought my mobile home about 9 months ago, I've slowly been discovering more and more leaks in the window sills. I took 2 of the windows off, scraped off all the old glue from both the window and the metal siding then put a new line of caulk around the window and re-hung the window. These windows have remained leak free, but I'm not sure if that is a sufficient enough method for fixing this problem. Is there a product that I should be using instead of caulk? Also, I've been reading a lot about the tiny gutters that the trailer has that are known to develop holes that can cause leaks...is there a solution for this or a way to prevent this sort of leak from occuring?
