Ive got an 01 Ford taurus, with a leaky transmission, Appears to be coming from the pan seal, Has anyone ever used that Bars transmission Stop Leak stuff or any other brand, Does it work at all?
Bars is a good product, but if you know where its coming from and are going to keep the vehicle why don't you get a gasket, drop the pan and install the gasket so it will be permanently fixed. I don't put anything in my transmissions or engines unless they're really really recommended and I'm absolutely positive they'll work.
