Le Cordon Bleu Degree Hospitality and Restaurant Management credibility?

I currently have over 11 years management in high volume food and beverage positions and 4 years retail/sales management. Im looking at possibly attending Le Cordon Bleu for the Hospitality/Restaurant management associate degree course, not the cooking courses. How would this differ from attending a community college? A degree along with my experience will definitely help me get a good GM job.
