LDS: Leviticus Laws and the Old Testament sill relevant?

I've read many of the questions already on here about "abominations" such as eating shellfish in Leviticus.

I just wanted to hear more LDS opinions on how relevant the Old Testament is to our lives today and why we don't follow all those laws anymore?
