worry about "anti's"? I've seen several people over the last few months ask if there was a place where they could go to ask an LDS based question where they could only get LDS answers. One person wanted to talk with an adult about something, but didn't want to talk to parents or the Bishop just yet.
Recently, I've had questions deleted for "chatting" or "solicitation", which did not set well with me. So I'm attempting to do what YA wants us to do, go to a group to "chat". However, since the last time I included a website in my details it was deleted for "solicitation" I'm asking that you email me and I'll give you the link to the new group. If people enjoy it, then I'll continue to moderate it, otherwise it will fade off into cyberspace.
No, that's not it at all. And it's not just for teens, anyone who can convince me of their "LDSness" can join. There have been times when I wanted to ask a question or get some feedback on an issue, but I wasn't about to discuss it here - now there's a place.
I'll leave it to the members on here as to what they want to do about wonderful non-members like glade*. What do you think, members only, or members and people like glade*?
So far, it sounds like it will be for members and people like glade* and Hopscotch.
For the website, just go to my account page and email me. I'll leave this question open until sometime Monday.
Hey this question made it through the night! Awesome!!
Yes, I've asked a similar question before - maybe a year or so ago. The point then was I was fed up with YA. The point with this one is not to stop coming here, and instead go there, but to allow a place for questions too personal for the world to see, but that an LDS answer is needed, and also a place to "chat" (as YA calls it) without fear of getting a violation.
MANY of you think it would be a great idea, but I haven't received any emails asking for the website. It's already set up, but I didn't want to post the site on here because I never know if my questions are going to make it through the night or get reported in the wee hours of the morning before I can pick a BA. However, this one will be up until Monday - if it lasts that long.
Alan, yes, there's always church meetings, but they aren't private they are very public and not usually the best place to ask SOME questions. I usually don't have more than a second or two
to converse with anyone, let alone find a room for a Q&A session.
And it looks like some are voting via thumbs up/down for the LDS or LDS and glade* types question. So we'll see. If you email me, include your preference there too. If there's no emails by Monday then I'll assume there's no interest.
I haven't gotten your email bubblewrap. Not sure why.
Ahh, beachlady, no, not secret and this time not sacred. It's just that I've recently gotten reported for chatting and "solicitation" which I can only assume was because I posted a link to a website. So in my questions I'm trying very hard not to post a link. The whole point of this group I'm trying to create is to have a place to discuss in more detail questions or topics that we get "chatting" violations for if we try to do so here.
Given your past answers, no, you probably wouldn't "get in".
