LCD TV screen vs Endust for Electronics?

I walked in to find my husband with a flannel rag and a can of Endust for Electronics in his hands, cleaning the control panel and case of our new 42" LCD TV. As I'm trying to get the words out, "Don't touch the screen with any of that!", he proceeded to wipe the top corner of the screen! Arrrgh!!!

I got a clean (new) microfiber cloth and dampened a section with distilled water and tried wiping the screen, and ended up with a streaky mess over about half the screen. I looked for instructions in the manual (none) and then checked online. I made a solution of distilled water and white vinegar and repeated the process.

It's a little better now, but not as clean and streak-free as I'd like it. We probably won't be able to see the streaks when the TV is on, but it sure looks crappy with it off! Tomorrow we'll go to town and pick up some of those cleaning wipes specifically made for LCD screens (our computer monitors need cleaning anyway so the purchase won't be a waste), but in the meantime, does anyone have any recommendations for something I could do with stuff I might have around the house? I only have 70% isopropanol and Toshiba specifically says to not use alcohol, but my results with water and vinegar sure aren't satisfactory.

Any suggestions? Thanks much for your time!
