In 2003, I was arrested in St. Bernard Parish in Louisiana. I plead guilty to misdemeanor attempted shoplifting and was told that after 2 years i would be able to get record expunged or sealed. Now, what I want to know is, Is this a process i can take care of myself or should i hire a lawyer and if I can take care o this myself how do i go about doing this and if i need to hire a lawyer can you recommend a lawyer or legal aid office in or around the New Orleans area?
