Lawyer in tha house? I need to retrieve video footage from a club...?

I was in an incident and affected, witness are leaving the country and there is no way they can testify in my favour, the aggressor can get away as there is no evidence. The prosecution (police) has not attempted to get the video evidence in the club, and I am not sure why, so far were relying on witnesses but both of them are leaving the country.....

Can I get these videos.. this happend a year ago! do clubs keep video evidence that long?

what are my options other than simply loose my appeal. I was assaulted with no provocation on my part.
 
Clubs are not required to keep video. Most places hold video anywhere from 7 - 30 days. If the club did some kind of internal report or investigation they might have pulled the tapes. To get either you will have to have a subpoena. You can also try to get the club employees that were involved summoned as witnesses. Being named on the police report you should be able to get a copy. Do you have a lawyer? If not, get one.
