Just curious...are the laws in canada similar to that of the usa? in the united states, the police cannot search your car unless they have a reason to believe that a crime is being commited. Also they can't search your house with out a search warant. And you have the right ot retain a lawyer if you are being interogated, and you can exercise your right to remain silent. Is it the same in Canada?
